PRABHU DEVA IN LOVE OF NAYANTHARA.

Finally, Prabhu Deva has confessed about his love for Nayanthara. The shy and reticent actor-cum-director, who is in Malsej Ghaj shooting for Santosh Sivan’s Urumi , said, “As far as Nayanthara is concerned, she is special. Yes I am in love with Nayanthara and we will be getting married soon. It’s a personal decision and I don’t like to talk about it to the media. Basically I’m not comfortable opening my heart out to the media.” The grapevine has it that he is sending across signals about his forthcoming marriage which should take place before the year is out.

For the last two years, they have been in love but even after the actress tattooed his name on her wrist, Prabhu kept a studied silence. Now, for the first time, he has confessed his love for Nayan.

Prabhu is not keen that she continue with her career and says, “Nayan, very contrary to the glam image that you see on screen, is a home bird and very simple. Any man who is in love would like to spend more time with his woman. I am no different and there is no meaning in both of us being busy and having no time for each other. She had a beautiful innings and I know very well that she is a top actress who is much in demand. She has stood by me in my difficult times and her support was like an oasis in the desert.”

Rumours are getting thick and fast about south actress Nayantara and actor-director-choreographer Prabhu Deva planning to tie the knot soon.

The duo has apparently been dating for a long time though Prabhu Deva is already married. In fact, his closeness to Nayan was a source of constant friction in his marriage with wife Latha.

Now, there is a strong buzz that Nayan and Prabhu are set to take their relationship to the next level with a marital bond. We hear Nayanthara has already stopped signing any new project and will now devote herself to clear the pending lot, which includes two films in Malayalam, one in Kannada and one in Tamil.

There are also reports that the divorce between Prabhu Deva and his wife is likely to come through soon.

MOKSHAGUNDAM VISVESVARAYA. ENGINEER'S DAY

Every year, Engineer’s day is celebrated on 15th September in India. Engineer’s day is celebrated in honor of the birth of Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya who was a great Indian engineer and statesman. Sir M. V. was born at Muddenahalli village, Chikballapur Taluka in the Kolar District of present-day Karnataka, Mysore. Besides being an Ayurvedic practitioner, his father Srinivasa Sastry was a Sanskrit scholar and an authority on the Hindu scriptures. His father died when he was 15 years old. Sir M. V. completed his primary school at Chikballapur and high school at Bangalore. He took his B.A. from Madras University in 1881 and later studied civil engineering at the College of Science, Pune, now known as the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP).Visvesvarayya took up a job with the Public Works Department (PWD) of Mumbai. After that, he was later invited to join the Indian Irrigation Commission.
An extremely intricate system of irrigation was implemented by him in the Deccan area. In 1903, a system of automatic weir water floodgates was also designed and patented by him, which were first installed, at the Khadakvasla reservoir near Pune. These gates were employed to raise the flood supply level of storage in the reservoir to the highest level likely to be attained by its flood, without causing any damage to the dam. This same system was installed at the Tigra dam in Gwalior and the Krishnaraja Sagara (KRS) dam which is based on the success of these gates in Mysore.

Lady GaGa Bad Romance Meat Dress

Lady GaGa Bad Romance Meat Dress

Lady Gaga looked almost conservative when she accepted the “Video of the Year” award for “Bad Romance” at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night. But when she remarked “I never thought I’d be asking Cher to hold my meat purse,” we realized what her get-up (dress, hat, shoes, and purse) was actually made of. Earlier this month, Gaga wore a meat bikini for the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan. @GagaDaily reports the dress was made by Franc Fernandez.

You probably didn't watch, but the VMAs were last night in L.A. That's Lady Gaga above (eight awards including Video of the Year for "Bad Romance") backstage in her meat dress. WAIT A MINUTE! Dresses aren't supposed to be made of meat! Didn't someone tell her before she left her hotel? Oh my gosh, she must be so embarrassed. I hope her assistant gets fired over this.
